DRIVING LESSON TIPS
Once you have passed your BTT and obtained a Provisional Driving License (PDL) you can proceed to the next step of your driving journey by starting on your driving lessons.
Here are some tips to make your driving lesson more enjoyable and productive!
- Enter the lesson with an open mind. Remain receptive to what the instructors have to say. Private Driving Instructors often have over 20 years of experience and have taught all kinds of students. They are the best people to take advice from
- Be punctual for your lesson! Instructors teach on a tight schedule and are unlikely to make up for your lesson time. Do inform them at least 48 hours in advance if you are unable to make it for the next lesson. This goes a long way in building a harmonious student-teacher relationship
- Shoes are highly recommended for driving lessons, especially for manual car drivers. This helps greatly in getting a “feel” of the pedals, especially the clutch pedal
